I read an article a while ago where an actress (though I can't remember who!) spoke about how when she prepares for a new role, she writes down 50 facts about that character. She said the first 10 were simple ,the last 10 were a bit ridiculous or out there because she just wanted to finish the list, but the middle ones really gave her an insight into the character and how she would approach it.
Whilst I'm not prepping for an acting role, I thought it would be an interesting activity to do to get an overall 'view' of myself and to give any readers a little peek into me.
(P.S sorry for the over-use of the word 'I')
1. I am 18 months away from being 30. Waaahh!!
2. I'm an old soul
3. I'm an introvert
4. I'm an only child
5. I left my job as a primary teacher to become a private tutor
6. I have 2 tattoos- so far. A treble clef merged into a heart on my wrist because of my love of music, and a moon and star constellation of Cancer on my ankle. I would love to get another one
7. My favourite concert I've been to is Fleetwood Mac, closely followed by Bon Jovi
8. I am grade 5 at piano and also teach it
9. I am allergic to hair dye
10. My favourite TV shows are Doctor Who and Outlander
11. I once won £100 at school in a headteacher's prize draw. I bought a trampoline with it
12. The scariest thing I've ever done was travel to LA by myself... but also one of the best things!
13. I'm very shy until you get to know me and I feel comfortable around you
14. I would choose a pair of slippers over heels any day
15. I'm extremely proud of my tutoring business
16. I'm good at accents and impersonations. My favourite is a welsh accent
17. The biggest quality I admire in others is integrity and loyalty
18. By the time I'm 30, I would like to own my own home, be secure in my business and hopefully have found my love
19. I'm 5' 3" 1/2 (the half is very important!)
20. I want to make travelling a priority in my life
21. Exercise has become a big part of my daily routine
22. I dream of working a summer in Greece in a hotel or taverna
23. I would love for my blog to take off
24. My biggest dream is to get married (and stay married)
25. I've been best friends with my bestie for 23 years
26. I'm trying to learn to like myself
27. Despite having a blog, I'm incredibly private- I'm not very good at opening up or revealing much about myself
28. I dabble in playing the saxophone
29. I hate arguing and it's my biggest fear in a relationship
30. I'm a big lover of astrology. I'm a Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon, Capricorn Rising and Leo Venus and Mars. I relate to my sun, moon and rising but less to my venus and mars
31. I could count to 10 in French by the time I was 2
32. I'm a good cook and love cooking for people
33. I love writing and would love to be an author
34. If I had an endless book supply, unlimited wifi and writing materials, I think I could easily become a recluse
35. I'm not completely antisocial- I do enjoy seeing my friends. I have a wide circle of friends from a 3 year old who used to call me Faca, to people in their sixties
36. I like being alone, but it's not good for me
37. I've had 3 pets in my life; 2 dogs and a rabbit. I would love to get another dog.
38. My favourite quote is 'It's not the place that's foreign but the traveller'
39. My mastermind specialist subject would be Harry Potter; books or films
40. My favourite country is Greece (but LA has a special place in my heart)
41. I am extremely short sighted
42. My friend and I have invented a new pastime; Chippyteawho. We go to the chippy, we drink tea and watch Doctor Who. Sometimes we throw in prosecco and add lots of snacks.
43. My favourite word is cwtch. It's welsh for cuddle

46. I once knocked out one of my baby teeth with a peg
47. A cactus is my spirit plant
48. I love country walks, but also a day at the beach. I can't decide where I would rather live.

50. I studied Childhood Studies before doing my PGCE. I'd always wanted to be a teacher, but private tutoring suits me so much better
