Despite having a great week, there are a couple of things I would do differently, and also need to remember to do again for the next time.
Do
Take a travel pillow
I hate to be picky but they were a bit stingy with pillows so having an extra pillow was a godsend.
Take factor 50
I was keen to get a tan, however I ended up with a few red bits. With the breeze from the moving boat, it's easy to forget the strength of the sun. I still got a good tan!
Take 1 jumper
It's Greece, it's hot but it can get a bit chilly in the evening, plus sitting on the jumper stops any indents from the Greek rattan chairs. Also it was bloody freezing on the plan home.
Sleep outside
As a solo traveller, this was my cabin... It was a bit snug. I opted to sleep outside (luckily I managed to nab one of the padded benches but I could have taken the mattress out too) and it was so quiet and peaceful. I would take longer pyjamas next time as it was a bit chilly and a few mosquitoes managed to have a bit of a feast on my legs.
Don't
Take dresses
Yes it's nicer to dress up, however trying to navigate a dinghy, climbing over the other boats in the flotilla and just generally moving around the boat in a dress is not easy, especially if you want to avoid flashing anyone.
Feel as though you have to do everything
I'm not a big drinker so after dinner often went back to the boat to the drinks and snacks I'd bought onto the boat. I worried a bit about what the others would think of me, however occasionally someone else called it an early night or did their own thing, and to be honest, sitting out on the boat at night was one of my favourite things.
Expect to be clean for a week
The showers were pretty shit so I got by with a lot of dry shampoo.
