There were so many great moments during my week away with Medsailors, however here's a pick of my top 5 (in no particular order cos I can't pick).
Waking up to beautiful sunrises. I slept outside at night as my cabin was so small but it was so calming sleeping under the stars and the best bit was waking up watching the sunrise. One particular one was like the opening of the Lion King. I have never been so in awe of nature.
Swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear waters. Swimming among the fish was cool but occasionally and unexpectedly we were treated to other amazing underwater sights such as jellyfish and sunken temples.
General chilling. Whether that be floating on my rubber ring, or Frank the flamingo the whole week was so relaxed and peaceful. Rather than go for drinks after dinner, I would often go back to the boat, sit on deck with my music and just contemplate. Give me that over a hectic, noisy club any day.
Visiting beautiful islands off the beaten track. I'd never been to, or really heard much about the islands we visited so it was lovely to go to unknown and new places. From hiring scooters to wandering through the cobbled streets, it was a great way to explore the islands.
The top moment(s) however, had to be just the general boat antics. I was so lucky with the group I was travelling with and our skipper: despite being on my own, myself and another solo traveller were made to be so welcome with the big group on our boat. From aerobics in the water, filming silly videos, paddle boarding together and just general laughter, I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to travel with.
