10 years in 10 months-month 2

I'll admit, the dark early nights have made it harder to have the motivation to do much on my list, so this update is going to be very quick.

Learn something new

I haven't practiced my Greek at all, however I have completed the practical modules of my massage course. Providing I pass it, I'll consider setting up my own massage business. I've enjoyed learning a new skill, receiving feedback and who knows, maybe it will be like a degree that many people do in their 20s, in that they never use it again!

Have a solid friendship group/ wear make up

Last week I went to see Steps with my mum, my mum's friend and her daughter who is the same age as me and who I haven't seen in ages. Despite not seeing each other in ages, it was lovely to catch up, sing, reminisce and dance along to songs from our childhood.

Plus I also wore make up, even if it was covered by a mask for some of the evening.

Have a fling

Tinder is GONE! Without sounding passive aggressive it was a complete waste of time with matches not replying to messages and uninteresting, one sided conversations with the one person who did reply. Having an online profile brings out more insecurities and annoyances than not having one. However, I am fed up of being single, and now it feels like everyone else is coupled up yet I can't see how I'm ever going to meet someone. I don't have opportunities to go out and when I do it's to places I'm unlikely to meet someone. Therefore with the feeling as though I'm never going to meet someone; Santa, please can I have a boyfriend for Christmas?

Sleep in till midday

I've recently learned that my dog will quite happily lie in bed under the duvet. While I don't particularly like having her in my bed-dog hair, drool etc, if it means I get a lie in, I'll have her in there all day! So far, we've got to 9am.

See you in December for month 3. Hopefully, the festive season will provide ample opportunity for me to relive my youth!
