While people seem to be longing for Autumn, I'm clinging on to summer for as long as I can.
1. Travel to my favourite country twice.
I reaffirmed my love for my favourite place in the world, and also found my new favourite Greek island and I hope to book another trip to Greece soon.
2. Make the most of summer
Fortunately, I had more tutoring than I was expecting however I managed to see my oldest friend, discovered a fab new mini golf course near me and just enjoyed a reduced schedule.
3. 'Enjoy' my birthday
I met some family friends' puppy which was adorable to see her play with my dog. Some family and close friends came round, we ate a takeaway outside in the lovely weather and then I slept out under the stars. All in all, not bad for a day I don't usually like.
Autumn Goals- September- End of December
1. Take the holiday I've waited years for
Next week, I'm off on a road trip around the USA. Initially I booked it in 2019 to go in 2020, and we all know what happened there! I can't wait to go back to Santa Monica, see Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and the Californian Coast. However, I think the thing I'm most excited for is the flights; in a moment of madness, thanks to a cheap (for what I'm getting) fee, I'm flying first class! Bring on being able to stretch out and lie down rather than being squished and having to dodge people to go to the toilet.
2. Indulge in festive activities at the earliest possible convenience
While I'll give it a few months before listening to Christmas tunes, I'm looking forward to watching Love Actually and The Holiday on repeat, decorating for Christmas and hopefully doing lots of fun festive things.
3. Get to know my cousins better
One of my cousins is coming to the US with me and another is coming on another trip with me. They've both recently turned 21 and 20 respectively and I'm looking forward to spending time with them.
I can't believe when I review these goals that it will be the end of the year- where has the time gone? However, I do like breaking the year up into seasons and focusing on each one rather than waiting specifically for a certain time of year.
