Seasonal Goals 2023
Spring Update
I can't believe we're halfway through the year already! Spring seemed to take ages to arrive as rain and dreariness hung around after winter but here's a recap on my goals for Spring.
1. Get to know my boyfriend better
My relationship is still going well (I don't want to jinx it!). I have loved every second I've spent with him and we've done some days out, lots of dog walks, went to see We Will Rock You and have booked our first holiday together. We're about to mark 6 months together so hopefully it will continue to go in the right direction.
2. Have dinner in the garden
While it took a while for the sunshine to come, when it arrived, it ARRIVED! We've had a couple of BBQs in the garden and some lunches and dinners outside which have been lovely.
3. Enjoy Australia
Words cannot explain how amazing Australia was. I loved every minute (even the 15 hour bus ride!). We saw Ayers Rock, The Great Barrier Reef, The Whitsundays, Fraser Island, Brisbane, Australia Zoo, Byron Bay, Sydney, Bondi Beach, The Blue Mountains and so much more! People keep asking me what my favourite part was and I honestly can't choose. I would love to go back but am so pleased I had all the experiences I had. Plus I loved travelling with my cousin and got to know her a lot better.
Summer Goals- July- September
1. Spend time at home
I've (very fortunately) been away on and off for a lot of this year and between now and the end of October is the longest I will be at home without any trips. I'm hoping to clear out my home, decorate and refresh. Hopefully there will be time (and weather) to spend in the garden and have little days out locally. Plus I'd like to focus on work and get back into a gym routine.
2. Book a dentist appointment.
It's a really boring goal but I need to go to the dentist and I've been putting it off for years.
There's really only 2 goals that I want to focus on, especially as the first one is quite broad and will impact day to day life.
